“Thoughts, connotations, dreams and memories.
How often does our mind wander ?
To which worlds ?
And our bodies ? Where are they ?”
“Shaping Time” is an interactive video installation that delves into the relationship between perception, memory, and reality. Inspired by the observation of an ice cube, which undergoes a transformation from solid to liquid to gas, the project uses this metaphor to explore the fluidity of thoughts and experiences. Just as the ice cube melts into water and then evaporates into air, the installation reflects how thoughts flow from a structured form to a more fluid state and eventually dissipate, returning to a state of reality.
The installation invites participants to embark on a personal journey of reflection, where fleeting moments of thought and memory shape individual perspectives. By asking viewers, "What do you see when you look at something?", it encourages them to engage with the transience of time and space, exploring how perception evolves. At the same time, it invites participants to share their own narratives, fostering a collective storytelling experience that reveals how personal perspectives influence our understanding of the world.”
